The library media center plays an important role in achieving the goals of Herscher High School. Classes in many subject areas use the library for research. The library media specialist works with teachers to plan and implement lessons to help all students become effective users of ideas and information, now and in the future. Library staff provides support for students and staff members in the use of library and computer resources. Students are encouraged to use the library media center as a place for quiet study, reading, and research before and after school and throughout the school day.
