Herscher CUSD#2 Transportation takes pride in safely busing our students.  Our trained drivers provide safe, dependable and efficient transportation to the children while traveling to and from school and/or events.  Currently, we transport over two thousand students during the school week to five schools in the district.

I would like to remind parents and guardians that it is necessary to have arrangements in place for your child for afternoon dropoffs. Our drivers take every precaution to safely deliver your child to their destination. Please be sure your child is aware of what to do if no one is there to meet them. If someone other than a parent or guardian is meeting your child, please communicate with your child the identity of that person so that your child is not taken by surprise when they arrive home.

Beginning 2011/2012, preschool students will ride the morning and afternoon route buses with the K-12 students.  A parent or designated adult will still be required to meet their child's bus in the morning and afternoon.  If a parent or designated adult is not present in the afternoon to meet the bus, the child will be returned to school.
